Nick Jacobsen has kite jumped off the Burj al-Arab in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Danish kiteboarder leaped off the third tallest hotel in the world using his kite as a parachute and hang glider.
This is probably the most dangerous stunt ever attempted in kiteboarding.
The Burj al-Arab is 1,053 feet high (321 meters), and Jacobsen jumped from the helicopter pad at 689 feet (210 meters).
The death-defying leap into the abyss is part of a Mercedes-Benz Middle East ad video.
"Standing on the top of the Burj al-Arab Jumeirah helipad was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and launching from it was a global first," expressed Nick Jacobsen.
"It took a lot of planning, precision, and safety measures, but it all worked well in the end, and the experience was amazing."
With the jump off Burj al-Arab's famous helipad into the Arabian Gulf, Jacobsen broke the Guinness World Record for the highest kiteboarding jump of all time previously set by himself at 295 feet (90 meters).
"It's hard to put into words. It takes a lot of patience and a lot of no's before the yes's, but with the right team of support and backing, I believe that almost anything is possible. There's much more to come!"
Nick Jacobsen's previous stunts include jumping off Richard Branson's house on Moskito Island and Necker Island and leaping off Azzam's 30-meter mast.
